Awesome
An incredibly frank personal account and challenging spiritual workbook for Christian women blindsided by this issue. Mary Ann Hastings encourages the reader to slow down and concentrate on her own spirituality, working on weak areas and allowing a closer relationship with God to transform a painful and seemingly hopeless situation. In Hastings' case, the husband gave up his gay lifestyle, but this book is not about trying to manipulate a change in the man (it will, however, ask you to believe that such change is possible). The focus in entirely on the woman's relationship with God and how showing God's love to the spouse - even when it seems most difficult - benefits both parties. Put aside preconceived notions of "the surrendered wife," and allow Hastings to educate and uplift you.
