Concerned for yourself or someone you love? Buy this book.
It is no easy task to pull together all of the valuable information in this one volume, but Carol Beck has done it. As a psychotherapist I have treated clients with eating disorders for many years, and this is the very best book I have found for providing the nuts and bolts of assessment, treatment and what it means to overcome an eating disorder.

If you are concerned about your own relationship with food, or about someone you love, or if you are a health professional with an interest in this arena, buy this book for dummies. It is a very smart thing to do.
