An excellent framework for sizing up your business
Business Diagnostics provides a concise framework for sizing up your business enterprise. Mimick and Thompson provide a framework that allows a busy entrepreneur to evaluate key factors in their business environment. It does not go into tremendous detail in accounting, finance, and marketing, but keys on the most relevant areas for the small to medium sized business owner. If you used Coles notes to help you with Shakespeare - you'll love this book to help you with your business.
Although I have the Canadian edition, I believe the framework and examples provided are almost universally applicable.
