Not just the BEST, but the ONLY job-hunting book
Executive Jobs Unlimited is the only book I've ever read that treats getting interviews as a marketing activity instead of an H.R. task. Seems really obvious, once you think about it, but very few people approach it like that. I got my first job using Carl Boll's techniques in 1979, and I've used it ever since. The only good book on how to get a job that I have read.
This book tells how to write a letter to a prospective employer that will not only be read, but will likely get you that all important interview. If you get enough interviews, you will get jobs too! By using the types of letters advocated by this book, I have not only gotten jobs for myself, but I have been able to help others do the same. My batting average for helping others get interviews has been way over 50%!!

Executive Jobs Unlimited by Carl Boll
The author explains many job search methods. He provides sample
broadcast letters and explains how candidates should
distinguish themselves. He spends a lot of time on how to
get interviews and conduct them successfully. The book is
a good investment for anyone planning a job change or
casually surveying the market. The key to a successful job
campaign is to distinguish your experience from the other
potential candidates.
