A so good combination with Simon & Blume
It is excellent to study this book along with Simon&Blume. The problem sets in this book is tougher than that of S&B but it is closer to what you have to deal with in advanced economics theory.

Comprehensive but difficult
A comprehensive book deals with the mathematical tools needed in studtying advanced economics. But I suggested that it should include a review of basic calculus and linear algebra.
