Good Technical Information
This is the old version that IFSTA produced, it has now been replaced by the Aerial Apparatus Driver/Operator Handbook. This book doesn't serve much in the way of usable information for the fireground, though there is information that can teach a great deal. This book's strength is its Appendix section.

In the Appendixes there is detailed information about brand specific Aerial Apparatus' and their capabilities and features. That was the oly reason why I purchased this book. This book is still useful as long as the types of apparatus featured in the book are still in service. All the other information is written better and expanded on in the new Aerial Apparatus Handbook.
