This is perhaps the most valuable book on the subject.
"Here at the Gig editorial offices, it's always a great thing to get a hold of a book that is well-written, informative, and really useful to anyone living and working in the real world. ...This is perhaps the most valuable book we have seen on getting your act together in a business sense. This is one you'll really want to check out." --Bill Evans, Gig Magazine

A kick in the butt for this musician.
This book fundamentally changed the way I think about what I am doing for a living. It made it possible for me to reorganize the business aspect of my career, and by the time I was actually making a living, a really killer booking agent found me and took the work off my hands. The aforementioned agent would not have been anywhere near as interested in helping my career if I hadn't had my business [act] together, and I wouldn't have had my business [act] together if I hadn't read Jeri's book. Buy it now. You won't be disappointed.

A bible for working musicians
My friend recommended this book to me a few years ago - it hasn't been far from my office desk ever since. This book is not only filled with clear, good advice and hundreds of helpful quotes and stories from all kinds of people in the business, it's also well-organized and enjoyable to read. The author breaks things down to their essentials, dealing with the big questions about being your own boss, along with the thousands of little details. I haven't seen a book that beats this one for its subject. If you want the real information about how it's really done, get this book. Similar Products
