Marvelous, Unreal
This book speaks to you in words you can't understand right away. Noel has a prose style that is both captivating and confusing--many times you'll reread a sentence and get an entirely different perspective, but never a bad one. It's like an epic poem. If this book begins to wear tedious, stop and start again later--it's you, not the book. And when you're done, and this book is dog-eared and tagged and underlined and highlighted, put it away where you can't see it everyday. Years later you'll discover it and it will speak to you in a whole different language, and you won't understand this time, either.
