Really grows on you
Initially I was quite disappointed with this book. The biggest book I have on my shelf, it seemed to me to have a lot of pages of dubious value in it. The sections on Quality And Society, Quality In Developing Countries, Quality in Central And Eastern Europe and several other chapters seemed (and still seem) to be of limited value to most people. However, as I began to use the book as a reference I began to realize the worth of the rest of the material. It seems to contain a wealth of information on all sorts of topics, from the tools (SPC, DOE) to Strategic Deployment etc. Overall, definitely worth a place on your shelf.
