Finally I understand!
I love their writing style. By using illustrations that people like me can understand, they explain about stocks and how to read a prospectus and what all those financial terms mean. They even show you step-by-step how to get the information you need from the companies and how to fill out an application.

If you're an "I know absolutely nothing and never understood what they're trying to explain" person, this book is just what you need. If you're looking for advanced material you're probably better off getting something more sophisticated.

Sure, I doubt any of us could get rich on $10 a week, but at least we don't have to feel left out of the investment game just because we don't have tons of money to invest.

Too Simplistic
I didn't enjoy this book that much. I think that maybe it was because I had already had some expirience with investing prior to reading this book. There are other books out there that gave me more information. This book is also very limited in the places it gives you to start investing your $10 a week. I also found that most of those places want much more than $10 to start a drip account. Not bad for a first time investor though.

EXTREMELY Simplistic
If you are a COMPLETE novice then this book is for you. But, if you have any experience at all with stocks, bonds, trading, etc. then I would pass on this book. The writing style is written for the junior high school level. I would buy Chuck Carlson's book for a more advanced approach to DRIP's and DIP's.
