An excellent introduction to a complex subject..Recommended.
Provides a clearly written, useful guideline to understanding and managing the dynamics of joint ventures. The four key areas of strategy, structure, culture and human resources are addressed, along with a special section on negotiation tactics deployed in establishing joint ventures. In addition, the importance of sensemaking, trust, and commitment are highlighted. Cases are used to illustrate key points. Questions for discussion close each chapter. References are given.
