Extremely difficult to find, but well worth the effort!
"Parathink" by Steven Starker has changed my life for the better. According to many friends and family who've encountered my wrath on several occasions, it seems I have had some rather "paranoid" tendencies and a high level of insecurity about my relationships that I never realized was causing a problem. This book clarifies all those problem behaviors for me, describes why they might happen, and by providing very familiar examples of situations where these attitudes can occur, it enforces the tools necessary to combat them. You'll have a bit of a chore on your hands to find this book, and even to put its methods into practice, but in both cases, slow and steady wins the race, and it will be well worth your time and effort.
