Straight Talk; Clear Thinking
This book provides a logical, clear way for people to identify their problems and find positive solutions. It provides ways to identify when and where a problem exists, and then todetermine whether the solution is to modify our current plan of action or to junk it and start fresh. This book is not for just one reading, but rather, it will be helpful again and again.

A+ for Plan B!
I read this book right after Thanksgiving, which was pretty much like all my family's holidays, full of sarcastic comments, put-downs, and nastiness. (Let me put it this way, holiday get-togethers with my family were not exactly tender and loving.) I found Stephanie Asker's scenarios and advice to be right on target. I worked through some (but not all) of the practical Q&A's in her book and found them extremely helpful. Asker is very solution-oriented and cuts through a lot of psycho-babble to get you to figure out what will work for you. I learned a lot, and after a horrible Thanksgiving dinner, I can honestly say I found Christmas to be pleasant. My advice is--Read this book!

Terrific self-help book for real people with real lives
This is one of the most readable, it-can-change- your-life kind of books I have come across. There are lots of case histories that bring the author's points to life and the book made me feel hopeful that many people can find happiness by re-thinking their original concept of the perfect life -- and devising a Plan B that can actually be better. I found the book to be immediately useful and to be helpful as well as hopeful.
