Excellent Skillset, Fast Results
I have been reading,learning and mastering sales,marketing and NLP strategies for the last 15 years, including several Tony Robbins,Tom Hopkins live seminars and more.
I found Persuasion Engineering to exceed my expectations. I read it once over the first night, laughing myself silly. The Authors don't expect you to have any previous NLP knowledge and you dont need any to gain fast results now from this book. The book is filled with unconscious messages which at least for me set to work immediately and I literally woke up the next day to find myself more aware, more assertive, more prone to have fun and laugh at anything, and with a passion and urge to sell anything just for the fun of it.
The magic in this book, at least for me, installed some powerful skills and enhanced the ones I already have.
On a conscious level, reading, applying and re-reading the book every day for about 2 weeks, I now feel like a human sales dynamo. Its like nothing but magic comes out of my mouth at the right point in time.
What have you guys done to me? Do I need to pay more money?
I own several of Richard's other NLP books and I found this one had the most direct value (at least for me) for people who are specifically looking for that extra magic ingredient to go from being a great communicator to being a human sales dynamo, super negotiator and magnet for all things good.
If I bought this book and received just 10% of the benefits I have now, it is still an incredible deal.
For those of you who have an understanding of NLP, read and re-read the book and each time I keep finding more and more hidden messages.

The state of the art on Sales & Neuro-Linguistic Programming
I enjoyed every page of this book! Its easy-to-read style belies the process language beneath the text! Richard and John use their storytelling and language patterns to install in their readers the kinds of skills and states of mind required in order to learn how to persuade other people powerfully. One common complaint about this book is that its not always grammatically correct -- but where this is true it is quite intended... because as they teach Neuro-Linguistic Programming within the book, they also demonstrate what they teach on the reader! Its fun, its highly effective as a sales skills development tool, and it makes for great reading. I recommend this book more than most other NLP books that I've read. Persuasion Engineering is a process of using specific NLP skills to capture and lead people's imaginations, induce WANTON buying states & feelings, and then, pointing to the product or service you sell/deliver! It helps you to learn the pitfalls of inappropriate selling, the pros and cons of various approaches, and teaches you how to prevent buyers remorse and guarantee more referrals in the future. This one should be on your must-read list, if you're in sales of any kind!
