Very technical
For a research analyst this is a good book. For a beginner trying to learn about the real estate market and financing for investment purposes I would recommend looking for other books that may be easier to read and comprehend. There are many quantitative mathematical formulas that may be too detailed if you are looking for a basic understanding. The information is good but just be aware it is an academic book.
