The Practical Sailor
This book is execllent, will organized, and full of ideas for the practical sailor. The information is dated but the ideas are definitely right on. The book should be renamed, "The Commonsense Approach to Buying a Boat and Other Practical Matters". I give it two thumbs up! Read it for pleasure and profit.

Beware, previous edition of Frugal Yachting
We purchased this book only to find that it was the previous (and now dated) first edition of a book we already had (Frugal Yachting).

While the content is excellent, well written, and well organized, Frugal Yachting is obviously a better choice, everything else (price) being equal.
