Useless and completely out of date.
This appears to have been written from an outdated set script, "Start Your Own Mail Order (insert text here) Business". There was very little information specific to the lingerie industry. Of the 224 pages in the book, I counted no more than 20 pages that were about the lingerie business. The figures used ( over a 50 billion dollar a year industry ) were not backed up and appear plain wrong. Victoria's Secret's mail order/internet division did just under 800 Million last year, making it hard to believe the authors claim ( oops, no author was listed - probably too embarrassed ). Now for the kicker, the internet was never mentioned anywhere in the book! Also, since I'm "in the business" as owner of Lingerie.com and LingerieDropshippers.com, I can test their claims against my own experience. I found absolutely nothing useful and advise everyone to save their money. You'd get more and better information from a simple search on Yahoo for lingerie manufacturers. Then look elsewhere on Amazon for one of their many excellant books on starting a small business.
