Perfect for undergradutes: the book we have been waiting for
There has been a small boom in publishing about social work values and ethics but I have not been able to find a book appropriate for use in undergraduate courses. I have used cases from other books and placed them on reserve, but not required students to purchase them. This book starts with the Code of Ethics and a chapter on social work principles and then presents a model for ethical decision making. The remaining chapters are on ethical diliemmas in various fields of practice such as child welfare, mental health, and aging. Our department has adopted this book as a requirement for every social work course in the curriculum. Varios chapters will be emphasized in different courses. The cases are interesting and will contribute to a lively discussion. Similar Products
