Something to Talk about is Something to Think About
This book is a believeable and an entertaining read. It will make you think. It will ask you questions. The character development leads you all over the place. Both male and female protagonists' character is well developed. Her mother and father characters are well developed. I liked all of them. The daughter/mother, daughter/father, daughter/grandfather relationships are particularly well drawn. It is a book about relationships and can be summed up with one line from the other daughter said about her father: "Even when he loses, he wins". Isn't this is an attitude we can all adopt about ourselves?
