the best relationship book i have ever read
Honestly this is the best relationship book I have ever read. I read it in 2 days...couldn't put it down!
It has validated my feelings of wanting to get in touch with a more spiritual side of myself in the bedroom. I never knew there was a name for it. I am sending it on to my husband who is in Iraq. Needless to say, we can't wait for his leave so we can try some of the techniques out. Al and Pala walk you through the steps to a more fulfilling relationship in this book. It is done in a very easy to relate to format. The other books I have read on this subject tend to be too clinical. I am so glad I found it.

An interesting read
I must start by saying this was quite an interesting read and love the idea that two people can connect so completely. I feel this is a practice not to be done by the faint of heart, or anyone who has inhibitions. Some of the suggested exercises were not exactly the type that would be practiced by everyone. The material offered is a matter of personal choice.
One example that appealed to me was an exercise where you stare into the other person's eyes. I have done this before on many occasions, and it is one of the most beautiful things in the world.
Another suggestion in this book is to create a special place for you and your partner. The stresses of everyday life can make it almost impossible for romance; with a special place you can make another world for just the two of you to enjoy each others company.
I also found some of the meditations to be quite helpful for not just becoming comfortable with my sexuality, but also accepting who I am and what I am to become as a woman.
As far as practicing the rest of the things in the book, well most of this material presented is not focused at the general population. There is a lot of material here that should be discussed between partners before exploration, as it may not be appealing to both people.
