Finally a book designed to help me, that did.
I was given Simple Truths as a gift. After my second reading of it, I began buying the copies from any bookstore I found that had a few copies. I must've given away 20 or more copies. There is a message for us all inside these very simple pages. Thank you, Dr. Nerburn, you changed me when I needed it most, by pointing out things I believe I've always known. I have survived the worst trauma of my life with this clear and gentle guidance.

This book is a GIFT
I mean that both figuratively and literally. I received it as a gift....and a gift it has been indeed to my consciousness. Ken Nerburn must be a very special, wise, and enlightened soul to express himself the way he does. How fortunate his family has been to have him....how lucky we are that he has shared his incredible perceptions and profoundly wise words with us.

A great gift for young adults
I bought this book at a book fair simply because it was discounted - and let me tell you - it was the most valuable purchase I've ever made. I have read this book dozens of times. It is like my bible. Kent Nerburn is truly a wise person. I was so moved by the wisdom in this book, that I have actually made it the standard gift that I give to every high school/college graduate I know. And I've also picked up a copy to give to a friend who is going through a particularly rough time in their life and needs some clarity and understanding. Nerburn has a knack for knowing how to bring the important issues back into focus.Just buy the book - there's not enough room here for me to fully explain why you should. Suffice it to say, its content is worth more than any price they could put on it, trust me.
