Worth re-reading once every year
Marlene Schiwy's book is inspirational. It's a dramatization of successful techniques for living well. It won't tell you how to balance a budget or how to save money or how to make lifestyle changes. Rather, it dramatizes the events in one woman's life as she negotiated a lot of these issues we all face. Thus, I like to re-read it every January when I set goals for the new year. The book is beautifully evocative of what a lot of women go through in their lives: marriage, work, saving for retirement, friendships, moving into a new home. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to see how one woman did it.
