The Complete Peterkin Papers
This book is about a family who is always getting into the most ridiculous problems. One example is: Mrs. Peterkin, Elizabeth Eliza and the three boys all want to go for a ride, but the horse won't go! They try whipping it, giving it food and lightening the load, but to no avail. They ask the Lady from Philadelphia(whom they are always asking everything!) what they should do. She looks out and suggest that they untie the horse from the hitching post! This is just one of the many hilareous stories in this book. The Peterkin family is always getting stuck with problems, and the lady from Philelphia saves them again and again. This is a must read for anyone who can read!
