Comprehensive and readable
This is by far the best sourcebook on QDROs ever published. The author has a clear easy-to-understand and very readable style, meaning that lawyers and non-lawyers alike will benefit from the book. It is thorough and comprehensive, covering all the issues you need to address in dividing a pension plan in divorce or collecting alimony or child support from your ex's plan. Who pays the income taxes on distributions under a QDRO? What happens if the employed spouse dies before pension payments begin? Contains up-to-date cases and many very helpful discovery forms and model clauses. A must for your library if you are a lawyer in private practice, judge, work in a child support agency or are going through a divorce yourself.
