Afficianados will want to underline every word.
If you are interested--really interested--in regulation of the telecommunications industry, this is one book you should own. Thorough and perceptive history of the relationship between regulators and the telecommunications industries--not only Ma Bell but the FCC, the cable cartel, bandwidth are subjected to Horwitz's piercing analysis. Great background reading for Gilder to judiciary hearings on CSPAN2!
