A new friend in the American Indian recovery community
Very simply,"The Healing Runes" are rapidly becoming a mainstay for Native American youth in recovery. It's message comes across with the same quiet strength, as Susan herself does in person. I had the pleasue of hearing her discuss the need for schools, to add a mandatory class on emotional development to their curriculum, state by state, as a deterrent to crime. The common sense of her thinking is very evident in this book. I find my emotions moving around when I read my daily passage. When I met her I asked if this was intentional, her smile was my answer. She said the weaving and positioning of specific words,was done to evoke an in the moment response---especially in groups.!!!!! Thank you Susan, for your generosity to the national American Indian community, and thank you BOTH for writing this book.

this book saved my life-literally
I can't say enough about this extraordinary book. Somewhere inside, I knew I was sick again, but I was in denial due to years of surgery. My former husband bought me, The Healing Runes, and as he handed it to me, he said, promise me this---if you pick the same stone twice, you 'll go to the doctor. I did, and I DID. I'm alive today due to my husband's gift, his love and friendship, AND THIS AMAZING BOOK, filled with so much love and clarity.

If you need guidance and healing....
Most people in this life have been hurt at least once in their lives. If not once than many times. I know that this book and the runes that come with it are a good way to help you find your way when you can not seem to hear that still quit voice. I believe that God can work through instruments as well as normal means. If you believe in God or not this book and the runes are good for guidance in both your daily life and your path of healing. It has helped me focus on my life rather than obsessing as I often find myself doing. You will be amazed what this book can do for you.
