This is definitely a book written for our time, especially considering the recent disasters suffered by the United States.
Starting from the very basics, the human brain and human birth, the author advances to many problems of todays society. With well researched and quoted documentation, she takes the reader into worlds as small as quantum physics and as large as the cosmos. This is not another doom and gloom prophecy, for Elaine Matthews sums up her arguments by showing that there is hope based on the fact that we are not finite, but continually advancing entities. We have the choice as to the future world we will bring into existence.
This is a book effecting all of humanity. A "Must Read" for parents raising children in todays society. Especially recomended for all expectent parents.

The book is the key to our future.
The author presents and builds on, with great skill and knowledge, the scientifically researched and verified conclusion that in addition to brain intelligence, Nature intended us to have heart intelligence as well and how we have effectively blocked that evolutionary intention.Through conclusions presented by the author in this well written book, the reader learns that only with a combination of heart intelligence and brain intelligence can we claim the right to call ourselves homosapien sapien.
Without beating the drum of any particular religion or group, the author points the way to solutions to many of the ills of body, mind and spirit which plague us all on this sick, polluted planet, solutions which can result not only in an expansion of our individual brain capacity and intelligence, but supply us with the intelligent, compassionate leadership which we so sadly lack. The solutions can stop any of our children from growing up to be criminals; give every human being a jump-start in intelligence and health (by returning to more natural birthing practices); slow down the aging process and greatly extend our lives. These are just a handful of the problems and solutions illuminated in this book.
No thinking person who reads this beautiful and insightful book could fail to be elevated in spirit, and inspired by the author's information and conclusions.
