A Coffe Table Book
What an important subject, richly presented and beautifully researched. I've been curious about the muses for a long time. The meta subject is spirit--that which inspires us. She includes text, pictures, quotes and short biographies to create a lively book that can be read for a few minutes or hours. Originally, I checked the book out of the library. I read thousands of books a year so I frequent the library. I like bookstores too but most of the books I buy I end up giving away because I'm a minimalist. This is one book I want to own! I want to go back again and again for inspiration. I'm going to leave it in the living room, because my family and guests will enjoy it too. Good work, Angeles Arrien.

Expected More.
I pre-ordered this book. When it arrived I was disappointed to find a hardcover workbook. I guess I expected more. Borrow this one from a friend.

A Wonderful Introduction to Creativity
I never knew what The Nine Muses really represented. This book has given me the knowledge of not only what each Muse stands for, but how I can apply each of the nine creative ways into my life. It was eye-opening and fun to read. It gave me ideas I never thought of before. I haven't read Angeles' other books, but they must be great if this is any representation.
