Relationships, marriage, careers, and accumulating money
The Missing Piece: Our Search For Security In An Insecure World is an examination by independent consultant and professional speaker Harold "Bud" Boughton of how people strive to build security (or illusions thereof) in a very insecure world. Relationships, marriage, careers, and accumulating money are all drives that feed the incessant human need for security, and The Missing Piece offers an insightful and accessible wisdom on what people are really searching for, as well as how to find it by learning to live and embracing forgiveness. The Missing Piece is a reader friendly and very recommended treatise on human nature and self-improvement.

A great short read!
This book is written just as if you were having a conversation with the author over dinner. Nothing etherial, just easy conversation, but you can't help thinking about it for the next few days. In his effort to find the inner peace we all seek, the author reviews his own life moments, similar to those we have all had. He discusses many of the 'smaller' events that have had a significant impact on most of us, whether we realize it or not. It is a discussion of faith, family and career. It is a discussion of our parents, our children, our churches, and our communities.
Baby boomers, and older, would especially enjoy this book, but their children would better understand them if they read it too.
It is a great book for reading on a plane flight---doesn't take long, but it keeps you entertained.
