HELPED ME AT A DIFFICULT TIME
having recently lost my wonderful husband of 25 1/2 years, i picked up this book which i had ordered a month or so before my 51 year old husband passed away. the wisdom and comfort that i found within its covers will be cherished by me for the rest of my life. i quote "when the gusty winds blow and shake our lives, if we know that people care about us, we may bend with the wind...but we won't break." wow - that means so much to me. thank you mr. rogers - oh by the way - say hello to my "del" for me will ya?

Special Book from a Uniquely Special Man
As a child, some of the most important and meaningful lessons I learned were from Mr. Rogers. He was able to communicate valuable lessons, about important topics, using age appropriate but very mature vocabulary and concepts. I just don't know if any other person has contributed to our lives as much as he has. This book is a special tribute to Mr. Rogers, his ideas, and his life. There is more for us adults to learn here, and also some nice biographical information, including charming stories about his own inner challenges. Thank goodness that my children can now watch reruns and gain the valuable lessons from their wonderful neighbor, Mr. Rogers. Take a look at "Effortless Wellbeing" by Evan Finer for more valuable ideas about authentic wellness.

An examined life.
If an unexamined life is not worth living, then Mr. Rogers life was well worth living. This book is filled with honest examinations and evaluations of aspects of life that we all encounter. The conclusion is that life is wonderful, in spite of the pain and challenges, and that the most important thing of all is love. This book will make you feel better. Thanks, Mr. Rogers. We miss you.
