Great information, irritating style
I don't know what the editor(s) of this book were thinking in terms of the silly way sections end, and certain blanket assertions/assumptions the authors make about society; however, the basic information and research presented are fascinating and important. I wish I felt better about saying everyone should read this thought-provoking book. It would make the world a more humane place for both men and women if more people understood the points this book makes.

Don't let the title mislead you. The book is amazing.
I could not put this book down. Brain Sex initially laid the groundwork for many of these scientific answers to gender differences. However, she has now been able to better substansiate them, via tons of new research from around the world(citations included in book). I will add that the overall picture that this book develops is quite convincing. I am impressed with the broadness of her research and critique. She and Bill cover many of the the most plaguing current societal issues today: "The glass ceiling", feminists version of "science" eco-feminists and saving the earth, feminisms influence on the American diet, male/female differences of sex drives, relationships and emotional definitions/contrasts/capacities, domestic inclinations/capacities, the list goes on, but you get the idea. Get The Book!!!
A more realistic gender/sex understanding is already badly needed. This book is definitely a step in the right direction.
Perhaps one day we will live in a society that equally values the comlimentary and compensatory differences between two of God's greatest creations - Man and Woman.
I hope more author's would be so brave. Bravo Anne and Bill Moir!!!

what kind of mickey mouse crap is this??????????????????????
HEY!!! I'm a male and I happen to love ironing. I have a rather nice supply of starch too. Not that spray can crap, but the concentrated liquid starch which allows me to make the starch as strong as I want. Personally I like my starch heavy because I really like the crisp classic look that only heavy starch can produce. Now you've got to be careful because if you have too much starch you can get flakes as well as the chance of clogging up your iron. Both situations really suck. Now if you don't mind I've got to get back to the kitchen. Similar Products
