allow the healing to begin
reading this book not only allows for the healing to take place but helps the sugnificant other in your life to understand what you are going through. Very well put together.

A Great Resource for Partners of Survivors!
This book has everything you need to know, and is written in a style that makes you feel like you're sitting in the living room with a good buddy who just happens to have gone through the same thing you're going through. This is an outstanding resource, and should be on every partner of a survivor's shelf.

healing from sexual abuse
The book shocked me when I started reading it. It was as if I was reading about myself through the whole book. One of the chapters that covered suicide thoughts made me feel like I was not alone. Reading this book gave myself and my husband a better understanding of what to expect when healing from sexual abuse.
I can't say enough about this book. It's not only well written and very easy to understand but it is written by someone who has been through the healing process with his partner.
